THE SOMMELLERY

Reading a book in the shade of the majestic plane tree or relaxing by the pool, why not take the time? This former 17th-century sheepfold is a beautiful building, with thick walls and a typically Provençal character. Recently renovated, the La Sommellerie hotel-restaurant has 16 comfortable rooms and a restaurant opening onto a large shaded terrace.

"Very close to Châteauneuf-du-Pape and its (very well-done) wine museum. Charming hotel with a garden and swimming pool. Very warm welcome at this lovely hotel. We arrived on a Monday and therefore didn't get a chance to try the food, but the menu looked tempting. A full breakfast was served with a smile despite our early departure. We look forward to returning in another season to enjoy the garden and the pool."
