What a great museum in the heart of Chateauneuf du Pape! The museum tour is self-guided with audio headsets, and takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get through. The audio/script is really well-written and provides a lot of great information regarding the Rhone Valley, the development of the AOCs, history of winemaking in CdP, and general wine making and tasting information. As a wine enthusiast, and someone who has a good level of wine industry/tasting knowledge, this was really nice! We did the Reserve tasting at the end of our tour, overseen by Emilie. She led us through 6 special wines, and shared more education around the Brotte family and some of their vintages. Great experience!

A must-see if you're in the area for wine enthusiasts. We received a free ticket because we were from a partner winery. I personally paid €25 (the standard price is €15) for the most in-depth tasting. The museum was very informative and interesting. The tasting introduced us to some very old and excellent wines. I highly recommend it.

A must visit when in town - the audioguide was very informative, and the whole experience was heightened by the wine tasting at the end of the self guided tour. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
